Kalaful's Store is the exemplification and realization of today's woman fulfilling a personal dream.     Kalaful was a single parent, attended college, and was very active in various California, Alabama, and the Carolinas communities.  Kalaful has always been actively involved in creative and community cultural endeavors and encouraged and included her children and grandchildren to be part of the solution – not the problem.  

 
Achieving success in her career as an Events Developer/Coordinator, Community Project Developer, and presently serving as the Executive Organizer to the Mayor of Tuskegee.   Kalaful wants to showcase how "the arts" can help as a healing and cultural expression for unity.
